Martial Solal is this week’s podcast. In 1963, Paul Motian played at the Hickory House with French pianist Martial Solal and bassist Teddy Kotick for 10 weeks. They reunited in 1997 and 1998 to tour and record, first with bassist Gary Peacock and later, Marc Johnson. Lots of readings from the archive.
