Brackeen & Davidson Duo Rehearsals with Motian is this week’s podcast. About a year after the shows I did about pianist Lowell Davidson, I had a cassette tape of Motian’s from about 1977 digitized. It had a rehearsal with Lowell Davidson-he only released one album in his lifetime, so it is quite the find. I also have a rehearsal tape with saxophonist Charles Brackeen from around the same time.
