RIP Martial Solal. Paul Motian played with French pianist Martial Solal for 10 weeks at the Hickory House in NYC in 1963. The show features recordings from 1963 with bassist Teddy Kotick and 1997 and 1998 recordings with Motian, Solal and bassists Gary Peacock and Marc Johnson.
